This policy explains how Red Light Biohack handles information when you read the site, submit a review request or correction, or sign up for email updates.
Last updated September 9, 2026. You can contact the site about privacy through Request a Review. Put “Privacy request” in the message and explain what you would like checked, corrected, or deleted.
Information you choose to submit
The review request form collects your name, email address, the device or topic, an optional product URL, and your message. It also records the submission date and your consent to the stated handling of the request, including the consent date, consent wording, and privacy notice version.
This information is used to consider a device suggestion, investigate a correction, handle a privacy request, or follow up where needed. Submitting a review request does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The message is stored privately in WordPress and is not published as a comment or public post.
The newsletter form collects your email address and a separate affirmative consent to email updates. The record includes when consent was given, the privacy notice version, and information needed to process a later removal request. There is no need to submit a name or medical information for a newsletter signup.
Please keep form messages relevant to the question. Do not send payment card details, passwords, medical records, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for an editorial request.
Email updates and withdrawal
Newsletter consent is stored privately in the site’s WordPress database. No external newsletter service is currently connected, and marketing emails are not currently being sent. The forms do not automatically send a confirmation email or forward your submission to an email marketing provider.
A private removal link is shown after a new newsletter signup. Save the original link if you want a direct way to withdraw later. Submitting an address that is already registered does not replace its original removal link. Opening that link displays a confirmation step; confirming removal deletes the matching newsletter record. If you have lost the link or need help, submit a privacy request through the contact form using the relevant email address.
A newsletter signup remains on file until you withdraw it. A new consent record would be needed if you chose to sign up again after removal. If an email service is connected, this policy will be updated to identify the relevant handling before that service is used for the newsletter.
Where information is stored and who can access it
Review requests and newsletter records are stored as private administrative records in WordPress. They are not exposed through public search, normal article pages, or the public WordPress content API. Access is restricted to authorized site administration.
The website, database, and site images are served through the site’s hosting infrastructure. Hosting and platform providers necessarily process data needed to deliver and operate the site. They may maintain standard operational or security logs, which can include IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, and request times. Their platform log retention is separate from the form retention described here.
Spam prevention and retention
The forms use security checks and temporary limits to reduce automated spam. The form code does not save your raw IP address with your submission. It uses a salted hash of the address for temporary rate limiting, with those temporary entries expiring within 24 hours. This is separate from logs that the hosting platform may keep.
Review request records are scheduled for permanent deletion after 12 calendar months. The daily cleanup depends on site activity and can run later. Newsletter records do not expire automatically and remain until consent is withdrawn.
You can request deletion sooner through the contact form. Removal from the active site database does not establish that every separate hosting log or provider backup is erased at the same moment. The site does not promise a retention period for provider systems it does not control.
Fonts, cookies, and visitor measurement
The design loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to retrieve the font resources. That request can disclose your IP address, browser information, and referring page information, depending on browser settings. See Google’s font delivery documentation and Google’s Privacy Policy for information about that service.
No visitor analytics tools or advertising pixels are installed on this site. Public comments are disabled. Hosting security checks can set a temporary cookie to confirm that a browser can run JavaScript and help protect form submissions. WordPress can use cookies for authorized login and administrative functions; reading the articles does not require a public account. WordPress documents its standard cookie behavior.
You can use your browser settings to manage cookies and external resource requests. Blocking a font request can change the appearance of text. Blocking authentication cookies can affect an authorized login.
Manufacturer links and other websites
When you follow a product or source link, you leave this site and interact with that publisher’s services. A merchant processes its own orders, payments, and delivery information under its privacy policy. Red Light Biohack does not receive your payment card details through a manufacturer buying link. Access, correction, and deletion requests
You can ask about information submitted through the forms, request a correction, withdraw newsletter consent, or ask for deletion. Use Request a Review and identify the email address and type of submission involved. Some verification may be needed before information is disclosed or changed, so another person cannot obtain or remove your record simply by asking.
This policy describes the current site setup. If data collection, providers, or form behavior changes, the policy should be updated to match. Check the date above when reviewing how your information is handled.
